Yes, it is Christmas time and I had the awesome privilege of Worshipping at my local church this afternoon. I have been studying about virtue recently and not just any kind of virtue but christian virtue. My purpose is not to detail everything that I have been learning but to exclaim that without virtue, life holds no purpose and with virtue we hold in our hands the very purpose of our existence, the manifest Presence of God. We are on a team and you are on this team if you have believed in Christ. As you may have discovered we are called to believe in the present tense and after we have believed we are called to virtue. Virtue is hard work and lest you be discouraged, it takes effort again and again even when you fall down. The alternative isn't worth a mention, but if you take courage in the fact that you are a sinner and have come to the place in your life where you realise that after you believe there is work to be done, you will not fail in the quest for christian character. ...
