Is spiritual ecstasy part of the new birth?

As I write this there arises many questions and doubts to the sincerity of evangelical experiences so-called. One would think that any experience would be legitimate if it was explained in a way that it lined up with scripture but I put forward in this brief essay that any spiritual experience that comes to a professing Christian and cannot be explained through rational and intelligent means than that experience must be something purely subjective and possibly a rational. I take my ammunition from my experience in a New Age cult where subjective experience was the main course of the day and all that we were given was purely subjective experiences confirmed not by the word of God but by man. I do not want to say that any experience that you experience as a Christian is canceled out because Christianity does not hold two experiences but what I want to say is that if you are having a spiritual experience it is not because there is an outside force which is causing it but it's purely an explainable and rational experience as confirmed by the word of God. The scripture does not necessarily talk about spiritual experiences what it what it mainly talks about is the new birth of Jesus Christ brought on through the preaching of the word of God and the Holy Spirit.

Many cults these days and isms put their sole focus on the supernatural and purely subjective experiences without considering the fact that all of these experiences are just that their subjective and are in essence to be tested by pure doctrine according to orthodox Christianity found in the word of God. And any organization that claims to have superior revelation to the person of Christ or any other holy Scriptures should be cautiously made aware that what they might be teaching is not the word of God. When Protestant Christianity broke away from the Catholic Church it was based on one teaching that divided Catholicism from evangelical Christianity that namely of being justified by faith alone. What is happening today is that many Christian churches and other organizations that have splintered off from the Christian church are claiming that subjective experience is more important than the actual teachings of Christ most importantly the doctrine of justification by faith. The reason why this is important is because many people are claiming to be Christian or have an association with Christianity or the Christ of Christianity but in their teachings they are heretical and are very dangerous to the soul of that person who is engaging in those teachings. The definition of a cult is an organization that takes the Orthodox Christian teachings of the Trinity and of the person of Christ and of the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross and either mashes them with another religion or twist those Orthodox fundamental Christian teachings into something that you would not recognize. Once again we have subjective experience trumping over the doctrines found in the word of God.

You may be wondering what it is that one person must believe in order to be saved? The gospel is not difficult to understand but if you only have a subjective experience of the gospel it is insufficient to save your soul and to bring you into right relationship with Jesus Christ. The Bible talks about the new birth or becoming born-again the way that a person becomes born-again is by humbling their heart and receiving Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior through repentance and faith. When a person truly repents of their sins and acknowledges that they are a sinner they receive the forgiveness of sins offered to every single person on the earth who has appropriated this grace of Jesus Christ this is what the new birth is.

There is no other way to be forgiven by Jesus Christ because the Bible says unless the man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. In the Gospel of John it talks about being born of water and the Spirit the water here does not refer to baptism as the Catholic Church teaches but refers to being born the natural way or natural birth. Being born from the spirit means that one has their spirit regenerated in other words their spirit has become alive to the things of God and they are now a new creation in Jesus Christ. If you want to know more about the new birth find a Bible believing church who believes in Orthodox Christian doctrine. Salvation is by faith alone and if you have the faith as a grain of mustard seed the Bible says that you can have the faith that it takes to believe the gospel that Christ Was crucified and rose again on the third day. All you need to do is to express verbally your
belief that Jesus died on the cross for the penalty for your sins and to confess him as Lord and Savior.

Some Bible Verses on Money.

Bible verses about money. I bet you didn’t think the bible said that? Proverbs 23:5 When you glance at wealth, it disappears, for it makes wings for itself and flies like an eagle to the sky.  1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. Proverbs 13:11 Wealth quickly gained is quickly wasted — easy come, easy go! But if you gradually gain wealth, you will watch it grow. Psalm 62:10 Don’t make your living by extortion or put your hope in stealing. And if your wealth increases, don’t make it the centre of your life. Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Ecclesiastes 11:1 Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again. Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that

My Story.

In 1999 I suffered a mental health crisis and admitted myself into the hospital where I live, in which I was given a mental health diagnosis. I didn’t want to receive medication at the time, but unwillingly accepted it. I was in the hospital for about two months, when I asked my doctor if I could go home, and he said yes, even though he thought it would have been better if I stayed longer.   I was glad to be home though, but at 25, it took some adjusting to feel truly at home. One of the problems I was having at home was it was hard for me to eat the food in the house. I was having a psychosis where I felt the food wasn’t mine, and I literally had to go out to eat, or buy bread from the supermarket and take it home to eat it. Eventually this wore off, but I don’t remember how long.  I was now on ODSP and had a check come to me every month in order to have financial support. I would occasionally have a crisis, and ask my mom to drive me to the hospital, but eventually the crisis would

Why has the church lost its capacity and power?

The church has modernized itself and in the process has lost something very valuable. It has lost its capacity to be personable. The way we reach lost souls is by seeing them, by getting to know them, and by recognizing them, but people are getting lost in the church. The church has become a busy place and is also becoming a less holy place. To make disciples we have to get to know people, and technology in the church is depersonalizing souls, and depersonalizing God for them. Faith becomes a marketable commodity, whereas in the past, churches and their leaders nourished and valued personal faith. While faith is still valued, it’s becoming something that is marketable, which reminds me of the story of Jesus in the temple turning over tables (Matthew 21:12-17). The problem isn’t that the church doesn’t work or doesn’t want to share the gospel, it could be how we are doing it. The church is currently being run like a business, and each Christian metaphorically speaking has a profit val
