Justification by faith.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we a have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith b into this grace in which we stand, and we c rejoice d in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. 6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to G

The inconvertible truth with reason.

Have you found yourself in a slump lately well many of us may be experiencing the same thing. Truth and reason go hand-in-hand one without the other is like a hand without a glove or needle without thread. Day after day we experience similar things and if  not careful we can fall into a slump or sluggish mental attitude. The mind is an important thing because what we think we eventually do. That is not to say that everything we think we will do but most of the times our actions come from our thoughts and if our thoughts are negative all the time we will be feeling negative ourselves.  But what's most important is that we have a correct grasp on what reality actually is. Many of us experience similar situations and experiences every day yet very few of us learn to grow from the things that we experience every day. I don't want to make this a treaty on self improvement, but what I want to do is bring us to a point where we can see our needs and then go about through God's str

Lost at sea.

When the storms of life come our way sometimes we are faced with the question. Usually the question is a very simple question to answer but sometimes in the midst of tragedy we don't know how to say yes or no. We all have a human nature and that's what makes us human beings we all feel times of sadness of separation and of melancholy. We usually look to one another to bring us through these times of testing and of trial, but sometimes friends or family seems like it's not enough to help us. During one of these times of trial in my life when I was in my early 20s I went off to California to find what it was that I was looking for. I did find something for that brief time. In my life it was all that I was living for. I was always a person who believed in God but this time I was actually living out my beliefs whether they were wrong the right time was yet to tell. I recently contacted an organization that I had affiliation with in the past, in order to see for one if they reme

Confessions of a soldier.

Have you ever been alone and questioned the meaning of life if so keep reading? I think there has been movies done and books written and tapes recorded about what people believe the meaning of life is but can we really know what the meaning of life is without experiencing a part of that meaning? When I consider my own humanity it brings me into the presence of God namely Jesus Christ. To have a true life encounter with the Lord is something that not many people experience this side of eternity. In fact I would be Just in saying if you've never had a true encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ the moment when you die it might be too late. Seeing that this life is relatively short and we do not know when this life will end, how much more important it is For us to encounter a truth that will set us free from the bondage of loneliness and self recrimination. There have been many stories and people who have try to accomplish great things in life but in the end what did they fail to achiev

Doctrines of truth.

Let me ask you a question are you saved? Does your life reveal the power of God or doesn't reveal your own power which is being misused right now? The reason why am bringing up the power of God is because a lot of people claim to have strength and power from God when in fact the power comes from their own selves. Do you boast about today and do you boast about tomorrow or do you worry that you will not have enough to make it for today or tomorrow? God did not create us to question him all the time that is to question his love, for the Bible says that God is love and we are to trust in God's love if we want to be one of his children. What does it mean to be a child of God? In essence all of us are part of the human race but that does not mean that every single person living on earth is a child of God. God created humanity to glorify him more specifically to glorify his son Jesus Christ are you doing that with your life? You may ask why does God need to be glorified that's a

Sex soaked society.

I used to be part of an organization where they said that the vibrations that human beings sent out to other people determine whether or not you're going to live a pure life or whether you're going to live in impure life. Let's talk about what differentiates the poor life and the life that is well lived. As you may be well aware we are living in a society that has dredged itself in things that pertain to the flesh that being said how can one person live in purity and a world where even the most purest of the pure have fallen to levels beyond what you would even recognize to be very low or very impure. My guess is that the more time people have on their hands the more time they can spend on things that are fruitless and produce a unmeaningful life style. That's precisely my point no one really wants to live a good or a wholesome life anymore and it confuses the idea of what is actually wholesome with things that are actually impure. They said the days of Betty Crocker ar

When deception comes.

Most of us like to think that we are good people and in essence most of us are. But if you look at what the Bible teaches about sin and sacrifice understand that we're not so good as we think. In this politically correct climate we are either an optimist or pessimist there is no room to be in between. The ideas of heaven and hell have far vanished from our cultural setting, and this is why more than now that are churches should be preaching an unadulterated version of the gospel which some are doing. Why is it so important to be forgiven of your sins? And are there many ways so call that people say we can have communion in fellowship with God isn't that what we are all looking for anyways? Some will say there are many paths to God but is this really true? I once believed that if I was a good person that I would earn my way to heaven by my good works is that true? Surely the cross of Christ and the gospel is an offense to many people and many are stumbling over this direct thing

Thanks for reading.

Have you ever imagined that the most possible worst thing could ever happen to you? Someone like me with an overactive imagination or so I am told can sometimes look into the future and see what possibilities lie before me. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that sometimes people and things seem to come against you. I am not the only victim in the world but to consider myself to be a victim would be self-defeating in the first place so I'll say I'm not the only casualty that there is. Have you ever met someone without a voice well as I am writing this blog right now I'm using my voice on my computer to type out the words that you are reading right now. There are some things that are hard to understand and there some things that are easy to understand but in order to understand them you need to have information. Information is what makes us choose the right and Shun the wrong but if someone is withholding information from us we don't have the proper inf

Is spiritual ecstasy part of the new birth?

As I write this there arises many questions and doubts to the sincerity of evangelical experiences so-called. One would think that any experience would be legitimate if it was explained in a way that it lined up with scripture but I put forward in this brief essay that any spiritual experience that comes to a professing Christian and cannot be explained through rational and intelligent means than that experience must be something purely subjective and possibly a rational. I take my ammunition from my experience in a New Age cult where subjective experience was the main course of the day and all that we were given was purely subjective experiences confirmed not by the word of God but by man. I do not want to say that any experience that you experience as a Christian is canceled out because Christianity does not hold two experiences but what I want to say is that if you are having a spiritual experience it is not because there is an outside force which is causing it but it's purely a
