Vicky Beeching's coming out.

It has seemed yet another Christian artist who has great influence within the CCM and Christian worship world has come out recently and said that she is attracted to members of the same sex. This doesn't come as a surprise to me because I know for a fact that there are many professing evangelical Christians and born-again Christians who have same-sex desires. Hiding within the church are many people who are confused about their sexual identity and have no recourse or community to express those believes to. Some people are very confused about the interpretation of the Bible and concern to homosexuality. There are a few verses in the New Testament which refer to homosexuality is being a sin one of them being first Corinthians chapter 6 starting at verse nine. The context of this verse what is made clear at the end when the apostle Paul says and such were some of you. I guess I should quote this verse. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, * practicing homosexuals, * thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, * and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God. Some of you once lived this way. * But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ * and by the Spirit of our God.

Some may say that this verse  is outdated and with improper exegesis of the scripture try to make it say something that it doesn't actually say. Enter denominationalism. The foundation of any church is it's exegesis  of Scripture. With proper hermeneutics we can understand that the context of this verse not taken in a metaphorical way. Paul here is talking about actual people who are part of the actual Corinthian church at that time who used to practice these kinds of sins the meaning here is that they practice the lifestyle of the sins not individual acts of sins. Of course all sin leads to bondage but even as a Christian we struggle with temptations that sometimes we yield to however Paul is not talking about this in this particular passage what he's talking about is those who practice a lifestyle of the sins  that are listed in the verses above. God does not exclude anyone from the kingdom of heaven however he does require us to forsake our sins and to follow him.

No one goes to hell because they live their life the certain way particularly the way that we're talking about now the reason why someone goes the hell is because they failed to submit to the authority of the word of God. You may wonder why you have to submit to the word of God because the word of God is the only book that Christians and myself personally believe is infallible and direct revelation from the creator of the universe. This is why Christianity is so offensive to many and many who are interested and becoming Christians usually end up turning away and going off in following another God or another Jesus because the word of God can be harsh And it can be very convicting. Another reason why people are turned off from from the biblical version of Christianity is because it involves a complete submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. When we submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ we are also submitting to the word of God as supreme author and finisher of our faith. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God. The Word was with God in the beginning. All things were created by him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created. In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind. And the light shines on in the darkness, but the darkness has not mastered it.

Scripture explains itself and when we impose false interpretations upon the word of God we fall into sin and we fall into error. This is Mike.

Some Bible Verses on Money.

Bible verses about money. I bet you didn’t think the bible said that? Proverbs 23:5 When you glance at wealth, it disappears, for it makes wings for itself and flies like an eagle to the sky.  1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. Proverbs 13:11 Wealth quickly gained is quickly wasted — easy come, easy go! But if you gradually gain wealth, you will watch it grow. Psalm 62:10 Don’t make your living by extortion or put your hope in stealing. And if your wealth increases, don’t make it the centre of your life. Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Ecclesiastes 11:1 Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again. Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that

My Story.

In 1999 I suffered a mental health crisis and admitted myself into the hospital where I live, in which I was given a mental health diagnosis. I didn’t want to receive medication at the time, but unwillingly accepted it. I was in the hospital for about two months, when I asked my doctor if I could go home, and he said yes, even though he thought it would have been better if I stayed longer.   I was glad to be home though, but at 25, it took some adjusting to feel truly at home. One of the problems I was having at home was it was hard for me to eat the food in the house. I was having a psychosis where I felt the food wasn’t mine, and I literally had to go out to eat, or buy bread from the supermarket and take it home to eat it. Eventually this wore off, but I don’t remember how long.  I was now on ODSP and had a check come to me every month in order to have financial support. I would occasionally have a crisis, and ask my mom to drive me to the hospital, but eventually the crisis would

Why has the church lost its capacity and power?

The church has modernized itself and in the process has lost something very valuable. It has lost its capacity to be personable. The way we reach lost souls is by seeing them, by getting to know them, and by recognizing them, but people are getting lost in the church. The church has become a busy place and is also becoming a less holy place. To make disciples we have to get to know people, and technology in the church is depersonalizing souls, and depersonalizing God for them. Faith becomes a marketable commodity, whereas in the past, churches and their leaders nourished and valued personal faith. While faith is still valued, it’s becoming something that is marketable, which reminds me of the story of Jesus in the temple turning over tables (Matthew 21:12-17). The problem isn’t that the church doesn’t work or doesn’t want to share the gospel, it could be how we are doing it. The church is currently being run like a business, and each Christian metaphorically speaking has a profit val
