How people get to Heaven?

I was thinking about this question yesterday after I came home from church. I was feeling frustrated that earlier in the day. this answer seemed to come to me though the bible, but when I went to church it just clouded my answer. To answer this question, we must turn to the bible. in particular a Gideon Bible. https://www2.gideons.org/become-a-christian The following link explains how to become a Christian, I will copy and paste it here, but providing a link could be easier, although it might be disabled! We sometimes think that it is impossible to understand God's salvation plan, we need visions of Heaven or visions of Hell to make us feel extra spiritual. We need to attend church every Sunday, tithe ten percent of our income, attend small group or some kind of bible study plan, when in fact all God asks of us is to believe, then after we believe to keep on believing.

In case you were wondering, the Gideon's bibles are the bibles that are found in hotel rooms. I think the church can make it seem difficult, if not impossible to be forgiven of our sins, which is so confusing because the church is to help us facilitate our personal salvation. God's plan of salvation is not hard to understand, that is why I have provided a copy of the Salvation Plan found on the Gideon's web page. I really think that God doesn't want the world to be confused about this, or the church, because Heaven or Hell depend on the answer to this question. The way people go to Heaven is through forgiveness of their sins, and their sins are forgiven through faith in God's plan of salvation. In second thought I will copy and paste it here, in case the link doesn't work.

A Personal Journey

The Bible is the foundation for Christianity. It contains the answers to all of life’s vital questions and changes the very lens of the worldview through which we view reality. Most importantly, it teaches us how to have a true, meaningful relationship with God.
These verses illustrate the plan of salvation:

GOD LOVES YOU

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8

ALL ARE SINNERS

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. – Romans 3:23
As it is written: “none is righteous, no, not one” – Romans 3:10

GOD'S REMEDY FOR SIN

For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 6:23
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. – John 1:12

ALL MAY BE SAVED

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. – Revelation 3:20
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” – Romans 10:13
But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. – John 20:31

Pray

As a Christian, you can talk to God through prayer and share your heart with Him. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, He is faithfully listening for you to call on Him. To begin your new life in faith, pray this simple prayer:
“God, I confess that I am a sinner and I am in need of salvation. I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose again to bring me new life. I ask to receive your forgiveness and grace and choose to follow You as my Lord and Savior. Amen.”

Seek

The church is the body of Christ, designed to bring Him glory through worship, to teach Biblical doctrine, and to equip its members for evangelism. After making your decision to receive Christ, we encourage you to prayerfully seek a healthy Christian community in your local church that will help you continue to grow in your walk.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. 2 Peter 3:18

Find

Assurance for the believer comes directly from God’s Word. The Gospel tells us that because Christ died for us, anyone who trusts in Him may know that their sins have been forgiven, once and for all.
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. – Romans 10:9
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. – John 5:24
Was that so hard? I told you that finding God isn't as difficult as you think it is. God created the bible so we could know how to go to heaven. He doesn't want anyone in the dark. This is Mike.

Catholic Identity.

I was born into the Catholic Church and was baptized as an infant, I had my first communion and reconciliation as a child, and was confirmed as a teenager. Although I was never devout, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour when I was 21 through an evangelical Christian radio ministry, which in turn gave new life to my Catholic faith. Although I remained a Catholic, I identified as a born again Christian. It wasn’t until much later in my life that I learned the difference between the two denominations and what they taught about being born again. Regardless, there was a significant change in my life back then, which continues to this day. Being Catholic is much like an identity to me and I remember growing up under the papacy of St. Pope John Paul II. The culture I grew up in was largely affected by his papacy, and the way the culture viewed the church was significantly different from the way the current culture views it. Growing up, the pope didn’t try to be rele...

Age of Brokenness.

We are living in an age of brokenness, no matter what age you are, you probably have been touched with relationships falling apart, which causes more and more people to live in isolation. In this generation there is less of an incentive to heal and reconcile relationships, but that doesn’t excuse the amount of people who are broken. Why people don’t seem to be motivated to heal relationships is because our beliefs about faith and God have changed, really giving us less of an incentive to do what our religion says. If I act from my personal beliefs, but the person that I am responding to has abandoned religious beliefs, than the response to my wanting things to be better can be misinterpreted and rejected then by someone else. Generally when a society has expectations about broken relationships, loneliness and isolation, and the beliefs are generally accepted, society becomes a more compassionate society, because all value the same things. When religious values are undermined and ...

The Biblical Meaning of “Life in the Spirit.”

“Life in the Spirit” is an example that the Apostle Paul gives in the book of Romans starting in chapter 5 and going through to chapter 8. He begins by telling us we are justified by faith (5:1), and have gained access by faith into the grace of God (5:2). We have been delivered from God’s wrath (5:9) and we have been reconciled to God through the death of His Son (5:10). He goes on to explain that through Adam all die (5:12), and that the free Gift of God brings justification and righteousness to the believing sinner (5:15-17).   Through our conversion we are baptized into Christ and into his death, which frees us from the law and makes us dead to sin (6:2-4). He explains that just as Christ was raised from the dead, we are given new life in Christ (6:4). Our old unregenerate self was crucified with Christ so that our body of sin might be done away with (6:5-6). Because we have died to sin, we now submit ourselves to God being that we are now under grace, not the law (6:8-1...
