A Nation must be built on Justice.
Proverbs 12:3 A man shall not be established by wickedness;
But the root of the righteous shall not be moved.
A nation that disregards the teachings of the bible is doomed to eventual failure. Proverbs 12:3 reminds us that human beings shall not be established by wickedness and that it is only when we have our foundation on righteousness that we will stand firm. Moral principles are just the beginning of creating a just nation, but it is living out these principles that we start to build a secure nation. Dialectical thinking weakens our culture and creates unity on the surface, but lacks the real strength to stand up to adversity. Being a dialectical society means that we reject absolute truth absolutely, which leaves no room for the actual truth to be discovered or lived out.
When everyone thinks in a relative way, we push out didactic thinking, which is thinking based on moral reasoning based on the truth or the word of God. When the principles of our society are didactic it gives strength to our culture and gives moral fibre to our nation. Freedom and equality can only truly be lived out when we reason through a didactic way, and let the truth guide us in all our problems and conflicts. When we push the truth out of our lives and society through dialectical thinking, truth no longer has any place and society is weakened because collective reasoning has made it impossible to stand for anything.
When we are faced with challenges or an enemy, relative thinking is easily conquered because it lacks the strength to make wise decisions because any wise decision in life is usually based on principles found in scripture. We can’t think in a didactic way and a dialectical way at the same time, so when we use our powers of reason we should be basing it on truth found in scripture. Thinking is a process, and correct thinking is based on truth. Collective thinking is based on consensus, and the consensus fails to use absolute truth as it’s compass and guide. If we want a more fair and just society, we need to learn to think in a more didactic way. This is Mike.
