The Church of Jesus Christ is Drifting Away From Holiness.

The church in it's essence is a means for personal sanctification or holiness, that people through the word of God or the bible might be prepared for Heaven and keep the world in check through it's personal witness and holiness. The church of Jesus Christ was never meant to be an unholy place for sinners to continue in their unregenerate and unrepentant selves, it was meant to bring the message of repentance and faith to a lost world. The church in history was meant to shine a light on the injustices in society, alleviate the suffering of the poor and oppressed, and bring salvation through the message of the cross to all those who were oppressed. The gospel or the Kingdom of Heaven (or God) that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ taught was a salvation from our sins, any other message that the church teaches is a false gospel. The purpose for Christianity was not to form communities of people, or to help them find their purpose in life, the purpose of the message and the life of Jesus was that mankind can have their sins forgiven. Christianity is a participatory religion or faith, in that God asks us to trust in what Jesus did for us and to live out that faith through working out of our salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12-13  2Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed-not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence-continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. The crisis that exist in the world right now in regards to them rejecting the message of this religion, is expounded by false teachers in the church who are refusing to repent and teach those of us who have faith to live out that faith in a real way. The bible teaches that it's leaders are not to lord it over their flock, and this is what is precisely happening all over the world, as Satan uses the false message that the church isn't suppose to lead to the holiness of it's followers leaving the true flock of God without a shepherd. The true shepherd and head of all of Christianity is Jesus Christ the Lord and the bible or the church was never meant to be a weapon to force people to follow godless leaders who ruin the lives and faith of real people who want their sins forgiven and want to go to Heaven. In a true sense the true or invisible church is a community of truly repentant and forgiven people, and what some of you might not be aware of is that there is a church in Heaven, according to church theology that is called the church Triumphant. This church in Heaven consists of all Christians who have ever lived on earth, and are now living forgiven in the presence of the Lord and God who saved them. The church in history has had a reputation of being holy, and the bible teaches that without holiness no one will see the Lord, Hebrews 12:144Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the LORD. When the church ceases to be holy it stops producing saints and that means that these people who claim to be saved and on their way to Heaven are actually on their way to hell. The new testament fulfills the old testament and it is through the facilitation of the organisation that Jesus and the apostles set up called the church, that people hear the message of the gospel, repent of their sins and have faith in Christ who is God in the flesh. Who alone can forgive the sins of the world through his Life, death, and resurrection. Without this message of the cross of Jesus Christ being preached and lived out by all professing Christians, the world will see a powerless church unable to deliver the message that the church was set up by Jesus Christ to proclaim. Without the proclamation of the gospel which is the forgiveness of sins, and on our part to forsake sins and Satan forever, the world will not accept God's plan of salvation so long as our leaders fail to take on accountability for their sins. The bible teaches that all are sinners, no one is exempt through the doctrine of original sin. At our particular judgment after we die we must be free from mortal sin, and persistent venial sins that lead to capital sins. We must die in a state of grace, not in a state of sin in order to go to Heaven. Despite what is happening to Christianity right now, not unlike the old testament God will continue to pour out His unmerited favour (Grace) upon fallen humanity. God doesn't use fallen sinners in a state of sin to administer Grace, God alone is the agent of Grace for all of Humanity. He still continues to pour out his grace upon the humble and Christ's death is an eternal sacrifice which will be in effect to save souls untill His second coming, despite what fallen humanity does or will do the universal Church will live forever in Heaven. This is Mike.

On Christian Marriage. (Short)

On Christian Marriage. (Short) The modern co-habitation crisis has produced a lot of single moms and dads, and has fractured "family units" allowing other family members and relatives to take a bigger role in these "Separated families." There isn't a "one cause" why families have separated or divorced, it is a complicated issue, sometimes resulting in very hard emotions for Society to process. Things like the "millennial sexual revolution" have contributed to the widespread "non-committal" attitude, which in turn has given the traditional marriage the "black eye" it currently has and has turned many Christian men away from seeking a life partner. The more society devalues "traditional marriage" the more co-habitation you will see in all the other generations as well as the Millennials. This is Mike.

Why Christians must show Mutual Concern for One another.

Look and see, there is no one at my right hand; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life. Psalm 142:4. Christians in the church should have mutual concern for one another, this is what it means to be part of the body of Christ, 1 Corinthians 12:25. It’s takes good pastoral leadership to foster this sense of concern, and where it is missing, individuals who are suffering in the church are overlooked and not supported. Every believer needs support and encouragement, but when this is missing, the church divides and loses it power and testimony. Christians live like the world, and become vulnerable to Satan’s attacks when nobody is supporting them outside the church. I used to belong to an evangelical church which had great leadership, and something called small groups. This church felt like a family and I had people who shared my Christian walk with me when I was not in the church building. I have been attending a different denomination that doesn’t hav...

The Biblical Meaning of “Life in the Spirit.”

“Life in the Spirit” is an example that the Apostle Paul gives in the book of Romans starting in chapter 5 and going through to chapter 8. He begins by telling us we are justified by faith (5:1), and have gained access by faith into the grace of God (5:2). We have been delivered from God’s wrath (5:9) and we have been reconciled to God through the death of His Son (5:10). He goes on to explain that through Adam all die (5:12), and that the free Gift of God brings justification and righteousness to the believing sinner (5:15-17).   Through our conversion we are baptized into Christ and into his death, which frees us from the law and makes us dead to sin (6:2-4). He explains that just as Christ was raised from the dead, we are given new life in Christ (6:4). Our old unregenerate self was crucified with Christ so that our body of sin might be done away with (6:5-6). Because we have died to sin, we now submit ourselves to God being that we are now under grace, not the law (6:8-1...
