Why it is Bad to Live with Unresolved Issues in Your Life.

Things that are unresolved in your life right now many be the things that you have tried to change the most. When people don't care anymore about the sin in their lives, and choose instead to live in open rebellion about what tradition and the bible taught in the past we all get the world we are living in now, which is an evil world. The world in it's essence is good, but when there are more and more people rejecting the principals of the bible and choosing to live their lives their way, (not God's Way) not only will they be shut out from the presence of God when they die, (Hell) but they are causing for themselves untold miseries now in this life.

People these days don't like to believe in hell, because not many people talk about it any more. When I was growing up hell was a reality in our world. People feared God, and they feared the consequences of their sin. You would make an effort to not sin, because we all knew there was a real hell after you die and none wanted to go there. It was my desire as a young man in my twenties to be a person of faith, and I made two commitments to God, one that I would live the rest of my life for my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and two that I would live a holy life. I am still trying to keep my commitments. What is making my life miserable right now is the presence of Satan in the world and his strong efforts at tearing my life apart.

I personally believe that Satan has a very powerful influence in people's lives in the twenty first century because of sin. People don't take sin seriously anymore and in fact people don't want to hear about it. Some people in our churches are playing a game with sin and are putting their souls at danger in the coming Judgement, and the second coming of Jesus Christ. People do not fear God anymore, and are therefore putting their relationship with other people in jeopardy and putting their relationship with their God in jeopardy. I hope the younger generation is learning some valuable lessons from us older people that sin has consequences and when you try to avoid the consequences of sin you suffer even worse.

I believe in the younger generation mostly more than I believe in my generation. I sense that they have hope, and this brings me comfort. I can relate to this because I still have hope in my life and I see a lot of hope in their eyes. I would like to talk to them for a moment. When you live with unresolved issues in your life, it causes a lot of problems not just for you but for the rest of your world or the people you live with, and interact with on a daily basis. There is a devil and he wants to ruin your life, and the way he does that is destroying relationships. Satan is the Master destroyer, and how he does it is through unforgiveness. Unforgiveness is the devils greatest tool he uses to destroy love in societies/families/homes/friends etc. If Satan can cause you or your loved ones to refuse to forgive each other he has won the battle for your souls. He creates disharmony in churches, in homes, among friends, in businesses and at work, and probably at school too. The reason why he does this is because he hates God, and he hates human beings who are made in God's image and have the possibility to be eternally forgiven of their sins.

Jesus talked about the greatest commandment, it says in the bible in Matthew 22:34-40 NIV, "Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’c 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’d 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Jesus teaches the world that the greatest sin is not to love God with all your heart and not to love your friend or neighbor. To close read the story of the good Samaritan found in Luke 10:25-37 NIV, On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
26“What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”
27He answered, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’c ; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’d ”
28“You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”
29But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35The next day he took out two denariie and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
36“Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
37The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”
Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

Some Bible Verses on Money.

Bible verses about money. I bet you didn’t think the bible said that? Proverbs 23:5 When you glance at wealth, it disappears, for it makes wings for itself and flies like an eagle to the sky.  1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. Proverbs 13:11 Wealth quickly gained is quickly wasted — easy come, easy go! But if you gradually gain wealth, you will watch it grow. Psalm 62:10 Don’t make your living by extortion or put your hope in stealing. And if your wealth increases, don’t make it the centre of your life. Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Ecclesiastes 11:1 Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again. Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storeho...

My Story.

In 1999 I suffered a mental health crisis and admitted myself into the hospital where I live, in which I was given a mental health diagnosis. I didn’t want to receive medication at the time, but unwillingly accepted it. I was in the hospital for about two months, when I asked my doctor if I could go home, and he said yes, even though he thought it would have been better if I stayed longer.   I was glad to be home though, but at 25, it took some adjusting to feel truly at home. One of the problems I was having at home was it was hard for me to eat the food in the house. I was having a psychosis where I felt the food wasn’t mine, and I literally had to go out to eat, or buy bread from the supermarket and take it home to eat it. Eventually this wore off, but I don’t remember how long.  I was now on ODSP and had a check come to me every month in order to have financial support. I would occasionally have a crisis, and ask my mom to drive me to the hospital, but eventually th...

Why has the church lost its capacity and power?

The church has modernized itself and in the process has lost something very valuable. It has lost its capacity to be personable. The way we reach lost souls is by seeing them, by getting to know them, and by recognizing them, but people are getting lost in the church. The church has become a busy place and is also becoming a less holy place. To make disciples we have to get to know people, and technology in the church is depersonalizing souls, and depersonalizing God for them. Faith becomes a marketable commodity, whereas in the past, churches and their leaders nourished and valued personal faith. While faith is still valued, it’s becoming something that is marketable, which reminds me of the story of Jesus in the temple turning over tables (Matthew 21:12-17). The problem isn’t that the church doesn’t work or doesn’t want to share the gospel, it could be how we are doing it. The church is currently being run like a business, and each Christian metaphorically speaking has a profit...
