Right, here you are living in the 21st century an your capacity to see reality has blinded you to the fact that nothing is real to you anymore. I have good news for you, you are alive. Despite what the radio and news are telling you there still is a God and there will be a judgement...have you forgotten? Let me refresh your memory about a few things, read this verse from Revelation, Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the
heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12And I saw
the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened.
Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged
according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13The sea gave
up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in
them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14Then death
and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second
death. 15Anyone whose
name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. and another verse if you please, Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal,
flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2down the
middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree
of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the
leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3No longer will
there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and
his servants will serve him. 4They will see
his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5There will be
no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun,
for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. And one more, “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give
to each person according to what they have done. 13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning
and the End.
14“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right
to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually
immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices
falsehood.
16“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give youa this testimony for the churches. I am the
Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
17The Spirit
and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one
who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water
of life. If you lease would love to come and tell you that all your striving is being recorded, and one day you will have to stand before the God of his universe who you have crucified afresh, and tell Jesus Christ why your life was more important than his plan for you. Are you ready? I am, ...one more verse. In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people
pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings.
9But even the
archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses,
did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke
you!”d 10Yet these people
slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand
by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.
11Woe to them! They
have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error;
they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.
12These people are
blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest
qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown
along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead. 13They are wild waves
of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness
has been reserved forever.
14Enoch, the seventh
from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon
thousands of his holy ones 15to judge everyone,
and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their
ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against
him.”e 16These people are
grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about
themselves and flatter others for their own advantage. And yes, this is true also..But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.
18They said to you,
“In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly
desires.” 19These are the
people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the
Spirit.
20But you, dear
friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the
Holy Spirit, 21keep yourselves in
God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to
eternal life.
