Virtue in the Manifest Presence of God.

Yes, it is Christmas time and I had the awesome privilege of Worshipping at my local church this afternoon. I have been studying about virtue recently and not just any kind of virtue but christian virtue. My purpose is not to detail everything that I have been learning but to exclaim that without virtue, life holds no purpose and with virtue we hold in our hands the very purpose of our existence, the manifest Presence of God. We are on a team and you are on this team if you have believed in Christ. As you may have discovered we are called to believe in the present tense and after we have believed we are called to virtue. Virtue is hard work and lest you be discouraged, it takes effort again and again even when you fall down. The alternative isn't worth a mention, but if you take courage in the fact that you are a sinner and have come to the place in your life where you realise that after you believe there is work to be done, you will not fail in the quest for christian character.

Thoughts for a video Head.

I do realise that the title of this blog should be "Thoughts for a computer head" but since computers and video's have sort of made a complex combination I will speak like a video head. I have a computer and my computer is my mind, but my mind is connected to my fingers and my fingers have the power to bless you or to curse you. I would say that the computer in my mind is tragically flawed because it doesn't contain all he knowledge that the world contains.....But despite my lack of knowledge and lack of space to write all the thoughts contained in the universe, I will describe my current data as 'error/ please see owners manual' OWNERS MANUAL OF THE BRAIN: 1. When faced with the popular decision, choose the unpopular one. 2. When called old, look at your tormentor and say where were you in 1974? 3. When in a public setting never take the side of the herd. If you do you will become a cow just like them. 4. If you are a vain person, just be thankful that

The Palistinian Protection Placement program.

Back last February I had the opportunity to experience something that brought me back to my childhood. The last time I was in Chicago, was when I was a teenager and drunk on my long bangs and skateboard shoes, and flashy clothing I entered the USA with my parents as I visited my family who I will describe. I have a cousin named Antonella, and she is two years older than me..I am 39. Antonella was crazy cool. We would be in my aunt's kitchen getting ready to go somewhere and Antonella would be doing her hair/make up and she would be swearing the whole time she was getting ready. @####, &%))))! I say this because I believe I needed protection as a child, we all did but when we grow up we no longer require our parents to protect us, we need something more. That something more is God. Was the concept of God a foreign thing for you growing up? Being from the States, my cousin would pronounce the word "Gad" instead of "God" she would make fun of my accent and sa
