The Importance of Forgiveness.

Christianity isn’t just a religion about having your sins forgiven, it is also is a religion about forgiving others. Jesus said in Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours.” Forgiveness demonstrates the heart of God. When we are forgiven by God, we must forgive others from our hearts. When we fail to do this we are not forgiven ourselves. Jesus Christ died for our sins, but we must be willing to obey God and be like Jesus if we want to go to Heaven. Salvation is free, but we don’t get a free ride. Just because we are saved by grace, this doesn’t give us a license to sin, and unforgiveness is sin.   To demonstrate that we ourselves are forgiven we have to conform ourselves into the image of Christ’s character, read Romans 8:29, “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstbo

What is Christian Death?

To be absent from the body (death) is to be present with the Lord! (2 Corinthians 5:8). Christians believe that when we die believing in Christ that when we die we enter God’s Presence. When Jesus Christ died on the cross, he was dying for the sins of humanity. Anyone who puts their trust in Jesus Christ on this earth and lives with this faith up until their death, won’t suffer eternal death after they die (hell). The bible doesn’t give us details about heaven, but we are promised that our souls will experience joy and bliss while we are there. Every Christian who is now in heaven is also awaiting the resurrection of the dead.   When someone dies physically they enter eternity. There will be a time when Jesus Christ will come back to this earth, and when he does, he will bring with him all the Christians who have died, (1 Thessalonians 4:14). It is our faith that prepares us for heaven, the Bible says that without faith it’s impossible to please God, (Hebrews 11:6). Christian death i

What is Spiritual Blindness?

One of the main messages of the Gospel is love. The biblical concept of love has been corrupted in the past several years by secular society. They have turned the idea of love more into lust and promote a form of self-love that is incompatible with the bible. Why is the idea of love so strong in the Bible! The answer is obvious. In 1 John 4:8 the bible says that God is love. Notice that it doesn’t say that God expresses love, or that God thinks about love, no, it says that one of God’s main attributes is love! It’s love that makes God who he is.   As humans we talk a lot about love, but I can guarantee you that there has been no other perfect human love other than Jesus Christ. This is one of the reasons why we need a Saviour. We can’t love perfectly, however the bible does tell us to love one another, and the Holy Spirit helps us to do just that, (Romans 5:5). So what is Spiritual blindness? It happens when humans fail to love, and misinterpret love. Unless we are redeemed, our natu
