Taking the gospel to the world.

You're probably wondering what I've been up to lately so I'm about to tell you. I've been very active in my local church harvest Bible Chapel York region, and I am still dealing with other health issues not related to my physical body, but more related to my mind. It's hard to tell these days with my body being in good health, my sleeping has been restless so my mind is not getting its proper rest at night. I felt really good around election time and I even voted my conscience when, public opinion may have been saying not to vote my conscience. I was please with the election results However with a broad liberal agenda in the province of Ontario I'm kind of scared now as to what might be the outcome of this election. The other day I wrote on Facebook that I feel as though God is closing the door here in Markham is what I meant. I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not but I get the feeling especially in my own family that things are not as open as they

Society in overindulgence.

Who's up for a bacon double cheeseburger fries with gravy onion rings and extra-large extra thick milkshake? Sounds pretty good doesn't it but if you transfer that over into the spiritual life you'll see that our society is in and overindulgence spiritually. If I'm not making any effort on the spiritual life that I won't be getting anything back from God. I know that the Bible teaches that were saved by grace through

What's for real?

One of the taglines of evangelical Christianity today is authenticity, and rightfully so because wouldn't we want to be honest and true with those were walking the same spiritual path that we are walking? As we close our eyes at night to go to sleep the conscience rests or it is at unrest I think all this depends on whether or not we are being truly authentic. The Bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen, and it is with the eyes of faith that we rest truly in God. One of the things that I have to constantly deal with is the fact that I'm on medications for the rest of my life. This is a choice that I made because I see the commonsense in medications. Some would say that I'm better off going it another way quite possibly a more natural way of dealing with depression, and they might have a point. But the way that society is structured right now leave no other option but to seek the help of those who are most equipped to deal w
